Jenna V. Krishnan – is an Advocate with over 14 years of experience in the  areas of commercial and employment law, cross-border contracts, commercial litigation &  arbitration, negotiations and strategies for dispute resolution/ dispute avoidance.  

Jenna’s academic journey is marked by a succession of remarkable achievements, beginning  with her graduation with high honours from Government Law College, Mumbai, and  culminating in her pursuit of a Master in Law at Columbia Law School, New York City. During  her time at Columbia, she distinguished herself as a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar, a testament to  her exceptional intellectual prowess and scholarly dedication. Additionally, Jenna’s nomination  for the Parker School Certificate highlights her exemplary proficiency in International Law,  further solidifying her reputation as a formidable legal scholar with a deep commitment to  excellence on a global scale. 

Before pursuing her master’s, Jenna worked with Hon’ble (Retd) Mr. Justice B N Srikrishna,  assisting His Lordship in arbitration matters and as a litigator in the Bombay High Court. Soon  after her return to India, Jenna joined a boutique management consulting company as their  India Legal Counsel.  

In her nine-year tenure, Jenna rose to the position of Group Legal Counsel, for the issues &  dispute resolution vertical, handling over 17 offices across the globe. Her diverse experience  as a litigator, litigant, and legal counsel revealed the profound impact of insufficient legal  awareness, resulting in unfavourable decisions with far-reaching consequences in both  business & life.  

Thus, in April 2022, Jenna launched ‘The Daily Lawyer’ (TDL)– a platform that serves as a  dynamic bridge between practitioners and the people, striving to increase legal awareness while  amplifying the voices of lawyers to broadcast their person and practice worldwide. This is done  through TDL’s social media channels (LinkedIn | Instagram | YouTube | Website), corporate  training, & law courses. Jenna also hosts The Daily Lawyer Podcast (among the Top 100  podcasts on Apple podcasts – education) to showcase the person and practice behind various  lawyers and business owners alike.  

Jenna is a Jury Member of the Consumer Complaints Committee (CCC) of the Advertising  Standards Board of India (ASCI) and an active contributing member of the International Legal  Alliance (ILA) and the Indian Lawyers Association. She also serves as an advisor on the board  of various businesses, and consults businesses across industries ranging from music, public  relations, and branding to shipping & financial services; Being deeply interested in women’s  rights, Jenna serves as a member and advisor on Internal Complaint Committees. She regularly  provides training on POSH law, Corporate & employment practices and attendant issues.  

Jenna is also a mother of two children, a dedicated Bharatnatyam dancer and a thorough  bibliophile.
